Anyone have complaints about parking there M/H outside there house on the street or even on a driveway ?......................
I just know when i pick mine up this week, i will get some complaints :(

never had any complaints e few comments that my van is cute and if only it was mine. Tell them it was a toss up between a van or a horse drawn van

no complaints about the m/h but plenty from 1 neighbour about my fence...ha ha ha :D
stuff em,they are only jealous if they complain, also its taxed etc so i cant see any legal reason why you cant park it outside your house....!!!!????;)

No Complaints

Had no complaints, as i see it park what you want on own drive. Ino some people do have problems ,and some places have restrictions in there deeds. Most people are just jealious ,mind you have been called gypsies a few times . Who cares there are worse ,do what you want to do ,stuff every one else, miserable lot , get out and about and be happy .They are the ones missing out .:)

No Complaints

It does not matter what you do or what you have ,there is always someone who is not happy. There need to get a life ,you enjoy yours.

parking

keep mine on the driveway, there is a restriction on open plan housing about caravans. however if it has an engine and is taxed and anyone complains it can be parked perfectly legally on the road, so if they complain politely point this out and ask which they would prefer :D :p

Think it could cause a problems if you live in built up area like me (I dont get any hassle as neighbours are ok and i park most of time in secure storage as i live facing a park and in summer we get loads of kids about late at night). But we get quite a lot of van drivers who take their vans home parked facing us and we dont complain.Rob

Lucky as never had a problem & keep it in the front garden:D

I keep my old one (which hasnt been used for over 12 months) the back garden and much to my horror found that a local runaway had been sleeping in it.

Parking in the street

Hello . . . . new to this site, so no idea if this is how this works !!!! We bought a Nuevo last year, and as we live in a terraced house, it is parked in the street outside . . . we never park it outside other neighbours' homes, and there is no through traffic . . . . but no one has ever complained ( we have nice neighbours ) . It isn't a big van, though, so doesn't take up too much room, I think the neighbours would have been miffed if it was huge, as it is a small street . We bought this size as we had to be aware of the potential parking problems.

We actually have a convenant on our property deeds that states we may not park caravans on our drives! So before we bought the house I checked this out with the original developers who told me that if a neighbour complained that only they (the Developers) could acually take us to court and they were really far too busy running their business to worry about such a thing.

So I pointed out to the panickity neighbour that the convenant stated 'caravan' and therefore as we had a MH this was not banned. He seems to have got used to it as time has gone on and as it is on our sideway and not blocking (light or access) he really wouldn't have a leg to stand on........ of even a butt to sit on comfortably if he got too awkward :D:mad:
