Parking in Lille France ...

Was asking if any one knew of a place to park for a day in Lille, France as the kids (16 and 19) want a burger from The Hippopotamus chain, they had one in Paris last year, also wanted to know if anyone has turned up at the Eurotunnel with one less travelling than the paperwork says, my eldest is hinting he might go on hols with his uni mates instead, see my questions are boring!!

hi penny, eurotunnel no problem just explain when you get there but dont ring in advance as they will charge you a fee for booking alteration, lille we had a night there last year just parked on a street not far from town, there is also a wc spot near a park on the pois, enjoy

We used the poi in Lille a couple of years ago when visiting the christmas markets. It was very busy even then but we were able to walk in to the town. Didn't stay overnight though as we didn't feel comfortable with it (festival & funfair right next door)
