... in Normandy.
Mr and Ms Lesur have a ciderfarm which is a paradise for MH'rs.
You should taste their cider when it is hot; or have a calvados when it is a little chilly; and their pommeau as a starter.
The farm is 400 years old; and you have a nice setting amongst the appletrees.
We know this generous people for more than 10 years now.
How to find them: Take the road from Bernay to Beaumesnil (D140-Km32)
1km towards Conches and the left; "La Godinière"

Don't miss the place when you are in Normandy.
Santé :)

It may not be as romantic as Normandy but I thank "Belgian" for listing HOTTON we used it as a base for 3 days making visits to the Caves {grotts}, La Roche [castle],Erezee [tramway], Houffalize [Battle of the Bulge history] we don't normally do the tourist bit but these places were really good. There are loads of great walks accessible from the parking and the meadow between the rivers kept my dogs happy and wet , but it was hot.Frites a 5 minute walk as is the supermarket ,and as a bonus a giant Flea Market on Sunday morning [not regularly but there seems to be one on somewhere each weekend] the whole area "The Ardennes" is lovely give it a go we will be going back for sure.
