Hi,,, I doubt the paint will stick to this type of paper and once dry will just peel off.
But I could be wrong..:0):dance::confused:

Hi Pink ....I painted the whole of van inside and it took ok with just ordinary paint. I am not sure about the spongy paper in the shower as I didnt want to chance it. I am just going to learn to live with it. If you can find anything that might suitable then could you let me know and vice versa.:)

I agree with apache you would probably need a special paint or it will just peel off.

You may be better putting new on top of what you have.

We are lucky we haver Auto paints near by, an old bloke and two young lads, just tell them what you want to do and they will mix a small amount of paint to do it, so have a look around and find who supplys the motor trade with paint as they should be able to mix somethinng to stick to it.
Or just wallpaper over it with new stuff

i have put spongy paper on top of spongy paper and looks great, iv also painted my camper toilet area in plain magnolia silk emultion but this is just a vynal board and thats been ok too no probs, but you have to use pvu wallpaper paste, hope this helps loz

Thanks everyone..thinking of chasing the autopaint people,thats a good idea, and i,ll put more spongy paper on top of whats there if anything does go wrong xx
