Hi Waveyr03

Chap down the road tried it. Not good:( You might be a lot better off with thined down hammerite. Give you a better tougher finish.

done it to a vw t4 i had it's a lot of hard work, have a look around tinterweb for coach paint, i think it can be brushed or roller d with good results.

i know that land-rover paint is good for brush on, done a one quite a few years ago on a sunny weekend and you could not tell it had been brushed, used Harris professional brushes.

I had my narrow boat professionally painted - it was done with rollers and had an impeccable gloss finish at the end.

It takes some skill though ...

buy a electric spray gun from screw fix about £20 get your dulux paint and heat it up on cooker and spray away i have done three vans this way. go on you tube and search how to spray or paint.

Hot stuff

sounds like an idea, will cook it up on a sunday(were spraying it brown)the other half might think its the gravey:D,ha ha.shirl

If you use dulux, thin it down well and spray it on. Use thin coats and apply several, it will give you a great finish. What it looks like next month:confused: What it looks like next year??? If you then try to use cellulose paint it will act as a paint stripper, melting away the Dulux. Don't use ordinary Hammerite but the Smoothe and thin it well or go to your local motor factors and see what they have on offer.

You can buy brush on paint at Autopaints in St.Helens
I painted a 4x4 he mixes any coulour you want for about £10 a litre
Cost me £40 including brushes and rollers.
Rubdown with Scotchbrite pad ( or a plastic pan scourer), do the edges with a brush and the rest with a small good quality foam gloss roller. Vit%20shrunk.JPG

The other good but slightly more expensive way is Tecaloid coach paint
Tekaloid coachpaint & varnish
Many buses and commercials are painted with this
