So somewhere in Devon where a Motorhome/Campervan is tolerated on an overnight wow.
 
you done well there for noise this time of year.I used to live round the corner, nice place when quiet.
 
This unfortunately was not us, I pinched from a facebook group as I thought it would be of interest.

I think you’ll find though a lot still tolerate us in Devon but they are getting stricter with the rules like paying for 2 bays if you don’t fit in one , the sooner they stop the furlough and get all these winging nimbys back to work and give them something else to moan about the better as far as I’m concerned. 😂
 
IMO if we take up 2 bays we should but 2 tickets !
AND leave a note to that effect (and take photos - how we are parked,tickets & note)
Not sure how to do if you have to pay by phone but still do note !

I don’t mind paying for 2 bays but the rule on one Devon carpark used to be as long as your wheels were in the box you payed for one now that rule has changed again you pay for your overhang no matter how small it is, I don’t mind I was just showing how they are getting stricter with everything.

Yes tightening up but..
To be fair if any overhang prevents the use of a bay it seems right to pay x2 (as you indicate)
In some places the overhang does not impinge on another space so pay x1

Appledore do not let you 'overhang' even if the overhang is not blocking anything.

Parked up a night or two outside old friends' houses for a socially distanced catch up as well.

It was my county too for 25 years.
I lived first in Belper, then Alderwasley, Hulland Ward (briefly) and last - but definitely not least - Wirksworth ;)

I took up 2 bays on the car park at cheshire oaks, ( Im 7.5m) and got a fixed penalty for overhanging the bay?? work that out, the car park is bloody free and it was dead.

Best of all the bell end that ticketed me walked past me as I locked up and walked away and gave me a cheery smile, there wasnt a car with 50 yards of me
