Thanks D, we normally turn up early and all but once we`ve been put on the earlier ferry.
I was looking for a deal like i got a few years back  £37.44 and a £20 meal voucher ( spent on cold items ) one way, but no such luck this time
Looks like i`ll have to pay the full price
Just booked on the tunnel with a supplement £55 ten tickets. Basically go as you please but certain time restrictions. I f you cancel a crossing they return your ticket to your account and refund the supplement (motorhomes). You can nominate another person so you can share the tickets between yourselves. Always gone with P&O before but last time came back charged us £72 one way and the ship was filthy, sent a complaint but never heard anything.

The 10 Tunnel Tickets have to be used within a year from when you buy them. However, as we have done you can nominate a friend so you can both use them. I.e. 5 each or what ever you decide between yourselves. You can also buy more than ten.
Ten works out at £55 pounds each on the standard tariff. When you have booked your particular crossing you can also cancel it before you cross and the ticket will be put back into your account and the supplement of £11 that you have to pay because you are a MH will be refunded onto your card. By the way the normal price for a car is £44 per crossing put your £11 on ,( your supplement for a MH ) and it comes out at £55.
I have just checked P&O to go next week at our normal time which is 2 pm sailing and it is close on £70. Of course, My Ferry Link was the best but thank you to both the British and French Governments they closed it down because it was unfair competition.
