During the first lock down Nathen (who works out of Birmingham) came and took our Sat Dish away to put a reconditioned motor on as it had been playing up on our previous trip. He gave us a guarantee until the February (2021).
Like many, we didn't go away until the September. After a week of being away the dish started to play up, which meant that I had to constantly keep climbing onto the roof to reset it.
When we came home I rang him up and explained the problem and he came last week and took the dish away. Today he has returned the dish with a new motor , no charge, bearing in mind that he is travelling to us ( Burton on Trent) and back to collect and refit. I think that is pretty good service, he said he would try and get a refund from the suppliers even after after this length of time.
He now informs us that he is going to start making "Bespoke Off Grid Camper Vans". If his service is anything like with the Dishes. I would think they will be pretty good.
Just thought this might be of interest to some of the members.

As Arthur Dal(e)y would say..
"The world is your LOBSTER".
Not sure I have ever eaten lobster.
Oysters yes when I was 19 in my sister's penfriends house in Paris.
I was violently sick !
Even worse than "Hangover sick" !
Hey ho that was 50+ years ago !

I thought it was a foody thread, we'd never had Oysters until we went into this little place up in Kishorn.

At that time there was a bungalow across the road for sale, it needed a bit of work but we were very tempted to buy it and move up there.

Sounds like a good chap :)
I got a call yesterday from someone after some installation work, which I don't really do anymore and was hard-pushed to give them an alternative option. Could be useful to have a little 'directory' of proven, reliable people who could be referred to?

We both love lobster.

During the brief "eat out to help out" days we parked up for the night at a pub in Yorkshire which had a special on lobster salad.
With Uncle Boris's discount it cost £10 each.

In our house it is now referred to as the "Lobster Pub" even though it has never been on the menu since.
