Overnighting near Dumfries..?????

Can anyone share their tips for overnight parking in the Dumfries area. Preferably near beaches as we have 3 dogs,i`m thinking Powfoot,Sandyhills,Glencaple. This will be our first trip out in 12months..Cheers all.

Glencaple is on the river and Castle corner a bit further west is quite a way from the sea.

I would say Glencaple or maybe Lochmaben.
