Last year whilst staying at a popular spot on the beach at Torreguadiaro, we met a couple in a large 4WD rig who were about to drive to South Africa. They told us that they had just spent an enjoyable week on the sea front at Torremolinos, where there were other vans & also toilets.
On our way up the coast we went to have a look for it but couldn't find it, I should imagine it's to the north of the town maybe near the golf course.
Has anyone stayed there recently? or know where it is?
I seem to remember reading recently that the authorities had put the block on a venue on the sea front but there was a similar spot nearby which was OK.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

If you come of the seafront at night and sleep in or just outside the town lots of places near by then go back in the morning you will be ok if you dont fancy moving just stay were you are if you told to move then do it getting really funny here the last few weekends:have fun:

Hi Ken, just noticed your reply in the forum and it looks like you live in Spain. I've done four superb summers in France on the various Aires, but fancy trying Spain. What is it like for wild camping along the coastal resorts? Can you recommend some good places?

There is still many places to stay down Alicante way we go fishing most weekends and a few times been ask not to sleep there so we just move and come back early in the morning there was many complaints last summer even in the Spanish press about motorhomes taking over car parks and emptying loo,s down storm drains. They are slowly getting it together and a few Aires are being built you should be ok. I think you find its getting cheaper here now because Spain is in dip S---t and looking to get as much as they can.
