yes, If they are on the POI they all accept motorhomes overnight as long as you partake in a beverage and or meal.
Always introduce yourselves on arrival and ask permission and thank them before you leave. Imagine someone parking on your drive at home without permission and then leaving without saying goodbye.
this way we leave them with a good impression of us MH'ers and we will always be welcome again.

I inadvertantly parked my work van on somebodies drive last night in Weem near Aberfeldy, I thought it was part of the pub next door. When I realised I quickly ran back to the van, mouthed a 'sorry' to the couple staring out of the window and moved out. As I pulled out the man put his hand up as if to say 'Nae bother'.
Excellent Hotel/pub by the way, The Aberfeldy Weem Hotel, we were too late to try the food in the evening, but if breakfast is anything to go by, should be superb!

We find industrial estates pretty good and nobody ever seems to bother you providing you park in an obvious place and don't block anyone. Does often mean an early start though as the business traffic wakes you up! So inconsiderate?
In the New Forest we have overnighted in one or two of the more remote and less high profile parking areas. Find one in the trees or in a dip and off the main routes.
