Overnight Chester

We had a couple of good comfortable nights here on this car park at Chester a few weeks ago, it is right next to the Chester race course and a short walk into town, the gates are supposed to be locked at 10 .30 pm so you would be locked in ,but the gates were never closed, it cost £1.50 to park for the evening from 6pm .nothing to say you could not overnight ,there were four vans overnight when we were there,you pay for day parking up to a max of £5 60 ,depending when you arrive plus the £1 50 if overnighting ,public toilets nearby and a cafe in the parking,when we were there there was a Narrow Boat festival on in the nearby canal basin,great and a music festival in the race course which seemed very popular.Chester is a great City to visit.

Chester has many fond memories for me (women related) I love just wandering around so much to look at. Best bit is sat down by the river when the band is playing on a summers day - wonderful!

I have used the Chester and Fylde models with our Council who is 15 miles up the road,I feel I am on a hiding to nothing!
