overwintering

hi there "old one" although at 61 you are a mere boy !!! obviously it all depends on what type of MH you have. ihave lived in a caravan for three years previously to buying a MH which i now full time in...i am a member of the caravan club and mosey around the UK staying at what is called a certificated location.ie no more than 5 vans at one time. the average price is around £5-7.per night.. for this you have water..waste rubbish..and toilet waste emptying..an important point to consider !!! scotland is a great place to wild camp in as the laws of trespass are totally different up ther as is the scenery !! indeed in two weeks time i am going to the outer hebrides.and you cant be more remote than that unless you swim to st.kilda. you ask about the UK but on the continent they positively welcome motor homes and i have spent many a happy night parked up in the town square with even the luxury of water..lekky..and toilet dump provided for a minimal fee (3euros) or even free.. i hope that this has been useful to you ROCK ON US WRINKLY MOVERS !!!!!

Hello Steve.
Thanks for your reply.
yes the West Coast of Scotland, is very tempting
i do a lot of Landscape Photography, and would like
to spend a good amount of time up there.
i take it joining the caravan club is a must.
