Our new motor home had quite a few problems

A nice motorhome sat at a local dealership for a long time ,reason nothing worked in the back ,even although it was a lovely van no one would touch it.
Then comes along me well i saved a heap of cash and it only needed time spent fixing the electrics etc.
The previous owner an oil rig worker had been using it to live in and sat with candles, his children had scored faces into the plastic windows.
It took 4 months 20 odd repairs later and help from a clever old engineer buddy of mine we now have it all working and cleaned up.
Even the front door locks were busted and had to be replaced ,it beggars belief how such a valuable thing could be so abused.
Anyway we are now really happy with it ,the solar power works great wild camping.
Was it worth all the work i think it was although i do still mis my transit camper for those hard to get down roads.

Looks great. Glad you have got it working agian!

Habitiation door threshold is very high, I don't think I've seen one up there before.

Great Job

Looks a very nice van now.
Sometimes you just can't believe people. Damaging their property like that.
There loss is your gain.

That looks brilliant.

I'm not really suprised at the orginal condition if someone was full timing in it with young kids though.
