hi there ,
our first night wildcamping,
we stayed at a buisnespark with little on it (apart from snow) in Aboyne it was -6
but nice and warm in the van (never got the hot water to work as i drained the system and i think it wouldnt let me do so due to the temp) all was well untill midnight ish when a few local ladds were pulling a sled behind a car makeing a lot of noise (after a while the left) the next day we went to Banchory for a while so the kids were in the park with there sleds when my girl hit a bump and broke her collar bone (handy the docs was about 100yards from us at the time, then we are off to A,R,I for an xray to confirm.
so we went home after that cutting our trip short ...
but the van was very good and our first (wildnight ) is one we will remember for sure...
(sorry its a bit long )
happy newyear to all
