With Germany cancelled we decided to visit relatives in south Wales for the weekend.
Our first night was at CR Cleddon with a wicked view down the Wye valley, met my brother in his van, had the car park to ourselves on the Thursday night and lit a small fire on the Friday night.

Cleddon Falls is not spectacularly big, but very calming and a short walk from the Wild camp POI.
We travelled to the Gower and had a day walking along the cliffs and the beach.

On the way back home we thought we would try CR Tewksbury overnight.
A small car park/picnic area, next to a river, with a ferry on demand (we did not demand it, so do not know if it was in service) that takes foot passengers across to the pub on the other side of the river.. The late afternoon was quiet until quite a few vehicles turned up, and we thought the worst.
It turned out that the vehicles were carrying fishing nets, and they were after baby eels ! Some didn't go home until 3:30 in the morning, they were very noisy too.
Otherwise a very good wild camp spot which has our recommendation.
