Our Canada/USA venture is revised to Canada only.

Partly due to the the "yellow monster" and I cannot be arsed to get the USA visa.
Mainly because I have cut down the mileage incurred by travelling via "Yellowstone"
We have added Jasper and Whistler to our route which, as you can see, is Canada only !

Canada 2005

FLY To Vancouver on Saturday 24th May. Then a taxi to Abbotsford, 2 nights in a hotel. We collect the vehicle on the Monday. Revised plan excludes USA. Canada has the same wild-life as USA and hot springs. Abbotsford, Whistler, Jasper and Banff and return via the Rockies to Abbotsford. This will be

Hell its hard getting old.

Not sure on your timescale, but the route we took, and would recommend to many.
Hop across to Vancouver Island, Inside Passage up to Prince Ruppert, across to Jasper, down to Banff, across to Whistler, back down to Vancouver.

Well done I cashed in my US Dollars last week and got some euros. We spent many happy holidays in the US but I doubt if we will ever return, after recent events. Real shame but hey the world’s a big place. Enjoy Canada great country, great people.

That is the problem with Inside Passage ferry, usually booked up months in advance, we would have spent more time on Vancouver Island given more flexibility.
