When there was some talk of having a Continental Meet I suggested that if anyone wanted to look in at our one, they would be most welcome.
I was treated as though I had the pox and was Micheal Jacksons under-study
So, I'm sorry, I'm not too impressed with them

I prefer to call them Rivals:rolleyes:, rather than Opposition:eek:, I joined them:eek: when this site went down for a few days but spend 99% of the time here:cool:

Hi I don't know about Opposition I post on wild / fun / and facts and most members are members of at least 2 of them, we rally with the other 2 but it to do with convenience of when they are,it's a problem with the shows when both are attending we have to toss a coin, rather than a favorite club. Facts you pay but get the discounts and the others are free, so if there is a meet that we can make we will, but we do spend alot of time in europe so its hard to fit things in, but I do look at where the meets are on here so you never know maybe one day we will meet a few members if we have not already. We are off to France on thursday and come back on the 7th October so it will not be for a while.:p;):D. Thanks .Bob.
 
I must put my hand up and admit to checking out the "other" site before I found this one, I dont bother with it anymore, cause you lot live here and if I want some good information and a chuckle I only have to log on.

i think this is the more human site, we have a good cross section of members .new vans, old vans, large and small vans, and some more well orf than others :eek: but yet we do not seem to have an elitist group like there are on at least one i could mention we have admin phil who does a great job looking after all us nutters and apart from the odd occasion we have no need for moderators we just sort it out ourselves. at least one other site has too many moderators that if you dont think the way they want you to then tough .

I am larfing my plums off at the thought of running one :D They are scarily expensive on the old Jungle Juice, aren't they? :D

It's bad enough on most Aires for space but when one of those Throbbers turns up and takes up two spaces... Do they pay for two spaces? Probably not.

This comment also applies to the German Throbber who had a large MAN bus truck

I confess :confused:, I've been down there poaching (did find a meager booty) :rolleyes:
This (our) site remains my favourite. I met so many soulbrothers here (Mandrake, Trevor, *****, Lenny, Baloo, Hazy toughts, Hogan........and so many others I forgot...) I will never give up this kind friendship (thank you all :)) and keep posting here (but allow me a wink at the other sid(t)e :confused:
And please don't call this 'oposition' that reminds me too much at the state of this country (Belgium) and that is falling apart :eek:
I go for WILDcamping (don't we all ? ):):p;)

I've been 'over there' a bit too: it's a good site and has lots of interesting stuff on it - but it lacks the sheer gutsy bonhomie and real character of this one:D. Room for both - but my heart's in the wilds!:D:D:D

Thanks to all you rugged folk out there who keep this forum on its toes!:) L
