Us too, about 20 years ago..We pulled on to that place about 15 years ago, there were lots of vehicles parked up. A local chap waved us down and pointed out that the tide came right in over the parking area at high tide. We thanked him and moved elsewhere for the night.
I thanked him and asked if he could lead Us
to the nearest pub.
Great lunch, interesting guy..
He's probably turned up his toes, now, or waiting for Godot in A& E
