Oops!

Happened to me at one of the Heathrow car parks. Lucky was a VW T3 pick up so was only the ladder rack that hit.
Was right in the middle of the multi storey too. Some beams are lower than others. :ROFLMAO:
Was just about to let tyres down, but a hefty security bloke was walking around at the time, so he jumped on the back.

Had the same thing in Blackpool (cann’t remember which SM) but the height warning was incorrect and I took photos to prove it, didn’t jam but I was lucky to reverse out unscathed

Drove into a multi storey with our old T25, was a couple of inches under max height, but instinctively ducked under every beam.

Friends of mine, a few years ago, put their two new bikes on their new bike rack and went to Reculver to park and go for first ride....drove under the height barrier, took both bikes out and ruined the rack :eek:

At the Victoria Centre in Nottingham, a friend of drove down into the underground car park in his new LandRover Discovery. He drove in with no height problems but when he drove out he wedged it under the exit roof. It was lower on the exit than on the entrance but they had only shown the measurement of the entrance.

Court action and new landy.

Its now a convertible. As previously posted, had a brown trouser moment near Paris. Ended up going through the "Duplex" tunnel.o_O 10km of doom. Even though we now know we fit through, will never do that again.
