Until our first outing. We are going to a meet of friends at Arundel next weekend. The forecast is good and the company will be great. Can't wait.

Exciting!! is it the first time you will have actually slept in it? Its great getting to know your van, its only by being in it for long periods that you start to work out excatly how to make it work for you... what to keep where, how to keep the wet dog from soaking the bed, how things actually work etc etc, hours of fun! My quick list of essentials... satnav, extra rugs/blankets in case you want to sit outsied or protect bed from dog, wine, beer, torch notepad to record trip and potential POIs, wellies, and loads of kitchen roll! Have a great time!

Actually people why not make a new thread.....one where owners of various models of motorhome or campervan can post the best use of space that they have discovered by posting photographs....

Show your cupboards and what you store in them and where.....what you have in other storage spaces and how you have the items arranged to fit.

Then new owners can perhaps get a few tips and save a bit of hassle on their first trip out?

We are going to take all our kit, Awning, Cadac and associated bits (Haven't used it yet), hook up etc, We are going to try it all out. Seems like it will be a busy weekend. We need to know what is the bare minimum we need to take and still be comfortable. I think we will be towing a small trailer this time. Not exactly "wilding" but there you go

Thats a great idea, it might help people thinking of buying a van too, give them some ideas of what they would like. Cant start thread now as literally going out the door (if not stuck on bl***dy forum!!) but will take some pics when away if anyone else wants to start one
