I hope you see this Marie.
I reckon you would love the Galloway peninsula Marie.
Apart from the fact its nice and quiet, and has lovely scenery, the plants there seem different.
Everywhere you go you see plants growing wild, I rarely see elsewhere.
They even have strange looking Pine trees with flat tops.
You being a plant buff, no doubt have names for them all Marie.

And I thought you would appreciate the two gardeners hard at work on the last photo :)

Dumfries and Galloway has been on my "to visit" list with the camper since forever, Bill.

An ex-wildcamper (as in ex on this forum) has been refurbishing a walled garden near Dumfries together with her two daughters for the last 5 years. Our last visit there in the camper was back in 2018 and it was far too short and sweet.

I've been on a couple of extended garden trips over that neck of the woods in the past and yes, the plants can be very different due to the mild, wet - normally! - climate. 🥀🌼🌺🌸🌻

Lovely part of the world, but it's getting a bit more well known by all the "newbies" since the blummin' pandemic! 😜 😠

Like everywhere else in the UK that's scenic and worth visiting for the new "staycations" I suppose 🤷‍♀️ 😝👎
