I think it is a Champion RL95YC in mine. But it was a long time ago I changed it. Give a call to Gold RV in Hampshire they will tell you. that's where I gey my Microlite 2.3KV bits from.

I will post again if I can find any info in my bumph here. Most online parts places just list the Onan part numbers, so hard to find a real world part number:)

I do have a PDF workshop manual for one of these should you need it. It does not say however what sparkplug, only what gap it should be:rolleyes2:

Onan info

I work in the generator business, but unfortunately mainly on Industrial rather than leisure stuff. What little I have picked up on Onan stuff though is...

Onan were I think part of the Cummins group.

Pretty sure that the engines used were mostly Kohler 'Command' Series units. Kohler do have a UK presence (I might even have a contact in my work stuff somewhere, as I used to have dealings with the UK Kohler Distributor some time ago).

In any case - if you search for the Kohler engine model you have, chances are you can track down a contact or info that'll get you your spark plug type.

Onan's controls and alternator stuff is I think pretty specific to them. But the engine won't be (we used to use them years ago - pretty good engines from our experiences). Also Onan bits are pretty pricey, so getting what bits you can from other suppliers would maybe work out cheaper.

Kohler Group are massive and include John Deere and Lombardini among their holdings, as well as Kohler Engines.

Hope this helps.
