:ninja: Today we start looking for our new home on wheels. I have spent hours upon hours scanning the internet this week, but thinking we need to go and take a look at some, in particular 'Hymers' .........Hopefully it wont be too long before we can join you all again for meets.

Good luck on the search. Our first van was a Hymer A class...loved it and can recommend them

Sue:)

Good luck. Hope you find one soon and can get out in this lovely British weather! Lol.

We had a great day looking around even though the weather was lousy. We both learnt a few things we want and dont want in our new Motorhome which has completely suprised us both........for once I cant believe we both agree :scared:.

Oooooooooooooooo how exciting.

Good idea to take your time and look at lots of campers before you buy.

Have fun.

Glad you had a good day and I totally agree with Millie about taking your time. You'll probably just 'know' when you've found the right one anyway :) Happy hunting!

Hi Jennie....

We went out with a completely open mind .......I was particulary looking forward to looking at Hymers only because I had never been in one before and I have heard so much positive feedback about them and I was intrigued. I really loved them, but they are way over our head price wise (well the ones we seen today were anyway). So decisions have been made to go back to the drawing board now that we know what we want and what we cant have at this stage in our lives (unless of course the money fairy:angel: pays me a lottery visit tonight). We saw a 'Swift Suntor 590 RL' They ticked off a lot of boxes for us in fact I was really impressed, but have yet to look at some reviews and get some feedback on them:idea-007:.

Your right Jennie we will know when we know I suppose:idea:......and it is fun having a look around.

Ps Hope you are both well ....and we must pop over for that cuppa if thats still ok...........maybe when the sun finally starts to shine again !!!!

Of course you're still welcome for a cuppa... and if the money fairy pays you a visit, you can bring her along too

Take a long time to sort out exactly what you need/want. Otherwise, if you buy inhaste, you'll find yourself part/xing within a year.

as for reviews they are what that person thinks of it unless there is a major problem which will come up in all reveiws just use as a guide trust your own instincts

We fancied a Hymer too but most don't have a cooker which is one of our priorities.

Have you looked at the Pilote Galaxy - not so expensive as Hymers. Some might say not quite the same build quality but we liked them and they ticked all our boxes.

Just adding more confusion to your pot :lol-061:
