Hi, no we didn't but I checked out the telephone on the web and seeing as yours is practically new I presumed that it would be priced realistically (maybe wrongly, if so I apologise)
From a daft old soul, sorry
Peter
Not a problem.
Current phone is probably needing replaced , battery etc .
But I am toying with getting an e-sim compatible phone . So OPPO is available for reasonable price .
Up to you

Yup that's the theory Barry, it's what Garmin tell me anyway but not via the mifi unit though but though a phobile moan

If it connects via wifi is there any reason why you cant connect it via the mifi unit? Why does it have to be via a mobile phone?

Just for information/clarification the Garmin app connects to your phone via Bluetooth not wifi although you'll need internet on the phone to receive the traffic updates 🤔

Regards,
Del

Thanks folks, we've managed 'till now without one so we'll continue as before by getting lost with gay abandon and enjoying vanning.
Stay safe all
Peter
I have a Samsung M30 sitting idle because I bought Maggy a new phone, it isn't cheap though

It is free to you Peter, I have your address so if you want it let me know and I will even pay the P&P, I have reset it to factory default so it will need to be set up so you might need your son to step in again;)

We will have a whip round, i have a king kong which lasts 2 weeks easy on one charge, big monster mind you.View attachment 141518
Trev, you are the only person I know who has a Cubot phone :)

(I recently switched to another brand no one has probably heard of - ulefone - to get certain features, but before that, had a Cubot MAX3, MAX 2, MAX and Cubot Dinosaur - excellent phones just as good as ones 5 times the price).

I have seen the ulepfones, nought wrong with them.

I have a Ulefone but it has been in a drawer too long, it was a good phone when I put it there but when I tested it before offering it to Peter it wouldn't charge up, I am pleased the M30 still works but that has been regularly charged
