Hello,

I have for sale a new Omnistor Safari Room. NOW SOLD! THANK YOU

My Father bought a brand new motorhome a couple of years ago which turned out to be entirely unroadworthy even though it was new, you name it is was wrong with it or broken, to cut a long story short he rejected the motorhome under Trading Standards and went via the Courts to claim and eventually won a full refund as the motorhome was so shoddy. Despite winning a refund on the cost of the motorhome other accessories purchased for it separately were not re-imbursed.

My Father had bought loads of extra's for the motorhome one of them being a brand new Thule / Omnistor Safari Room, my Father has since died and the Safari Room was never used as the motorhome was returned to the suppliers. I am clearing my Mother's Summerhouse and she has asked me to sell the awning on her behalf. The awning has always been kept in the dark in a dry place so has not faded at all nor does it have any musty smells etc. it literally looks brand new.

The safari room that I have consists of one front panel and 2 side panels plus wind skirt and all of the poles etc plus 2 awning tension rafter arms and a storage bag but no tent pegs, the awning does have all of the brand new rubber inserts for the tent pegs. As neither myself or my Mother know what model the awning was for I contacted various shops giving them the dimensions and a very helpful man at Rose awnings has told me the following "from the information gathered I would say it’s a Safari Room for a series 5 awning, Omnistor 5000 or 5002 awning (the most popular type) 3.5m long, mounted height 2.2-2.4m"

I have given the dimensions below -

1 Front panel : 3 metres 20 cms wide by 1 metre 70 cms high plus grey mudskirt 40 cms

2 side panels :
Floor (bottom) 2 metres 30 cms
Roof width on diagonal 2 metres 30 cms
Height at rear 2 metres 40 cms plus grey mudskirt 40 cms
Height at front 1 metre 80 cms plus grey mudskirt 40 cms

Grey Wind skirt (attaches to bottom of van/motorhome - 1 metre 45 cms Long x 65 cms High

The awning stores away in the Blue Storage Bag 1 metre 40 cms x 65 cms, pole bag is separate. SAFARI ROOM PIC.jpgSafari image.gifSAFARI POLES (3).jpg

I have been told that the awning when my Father bought it new would have been in the region of £800, and have been advised that £475 would be a fair price for it.

If you need any more info then please let me know and I will do my best to help you. I can send bigger photo's privately if required as I am having trouble with error messages even on small pics.

Thanks for looking.
Lisa

Omnistor Safari Room for Sale £475 OVNO to fit Omnistor 5000/5002

NOW SOLD! THANK YOU

Hi,

A couple of awning companies that sell Safari rooms have advised me that £475 is a fair price for this awning, I am however open to very sensible offers. I will try and get some better pics put on as they haven't come out very well on here, my own ones which are around 5 Mb each are much clearer but too large for this website.

If you would like bigger pics feel free to e-mail me at dillon.dog1@virgin.net and I can forward them to you.

Thanks for looking.
