Hi.

I currently have an ancient TomTom one which is on the blink (long story). I looked at some of the newer models today and wasnt impressed. Has anyone got an older TomTom one or similar with full Europe Maps for sale? Doesnt have to be bang up to date and dont want to spend lots of money.

Oh and I need it ASAP!

Cheers
Barry

Thanks OH.

It has a dodgy connection on the charger so your driving along and usually at a major junction on a motorway just as its about to give you an instruction it will switch off. I thought it was the power lead so got another one but its still doing it. you have to wrap the lead around the device to try and get a good connection so its charging while driving then it "might" be ok but you just never know. Apart from that it doesnt have the full Europe map on it and I need Slovenia and Croatia so I thought I might try and get a similar replacement with all the maps on.

Someone on FACTS has a XL Classic full Europe for sale for £70 so will probably go for that unless something better turfs up.

surely someone could refit you a new power socket in it then just get the maps i am using a old pda the batterys about shot in it but it is starting to hold a charge after 3months of being on charge it getting better all the time just deleted the map off it i did nt wantor coul;d you use a smart phone with sat nav on or nokia as they come with freesat navs

Yeah but by the time I pay for the new maps, repair work and shipping I may as well buy the one thats for sale for £70 with it all loaded. Then I have a backup as well. Thats my logic anyway.
