On the way back from Murvi, via a ramble on dartmoor, we stayed overnight in the N.T. carpark at Wellingtons monument. 50.943526, -3.221072
This is a regular spot for us, we last stopped here 26 years ago in our elddis 270 and I am pleased to report the area is just as nice and peacful as it was then
with its gentle half mile stroll to the obelisk with its stunning views.
Another motorhome arrived about 10.00 and at 6.00 in the morning the dog walkers started turning up. By 8.00 the carpark was half full and we were off to clarks village, Street for a couple of hours retail therepy for Madam!!!
