Tunnel now booked for Sun.22nd Jan. using Tesco vouchers, off to find a bit of sunshine. We were planning on spending some time on La Manga campsite, went last year & it was nice to not having to drive for a couple of weeks & want to do a bit of canoeing etc.. We were intending to book with the C&CC but looking at their brochure it worked out £383 :scared:for 28 days, booking direct with the site it was only £345 - bit better but still too dear. Had a look at Camping Cheques, cost of a Silver Card was £2 & you can top it up over the internet. They have offers on some sites including La Manga that gives you 14 nights for using 11 camping cheques, cost for 28 days including the cost of card & booking fee was then £315. I then had a thought :idea:camping cheques are supposed to be 15€ but the UK site was charging £13.95 which is 16.94€. Found I can order from the international site for 15€ +6€ transaction fee (uk charge £6.50). So cost now works out at £278 for 28 nights.

Haven't decided which route to go yet, either down to Capbreton - Zaragoza then on to the coast or head south down to Perpignan then along the coast. Last year we had bad weather with quite a bit of snow going through the north of Spain, know the other route is a bit longer but found it not too bad with plenty of places to stop. Looking at the forecast for the Pamplona/Zaragosa area weather isn't too bad.

Some snow in the north but no reports of any problems on the roads yet if there is i will post them on here wall to wall sunshine again today.
