We're off for a 6 week trip to France, be meeting up with daughter/son in law & grandkids who will be camping near the Dordogne for a couple of weeks in August. Hoping for a better trip than our last to France where we had one day before we broke down, less than 15 miles form the tunnel.
Feeling apprehensive, lost confidence in our last van as it seemed we had nothing but problems, it was a nice van (Rapido A class) but every trip became troublesome. Not always the fault of the van such as being rushed into hospital in Marbella but still after many years travelling around Europe without any problems they all happened when we had that van.
New van is a Swift Escape 684 been without a van for about 18 months , nowhere near as the quality or storage space of the Rapido but not expecting any mechanical issues at least (only 750 miles on the clock)
No clear plans of where we are going when we get off the train as we have about 3 weeks to get down to the Dordogne area, can't decide which route to get down there. Probably chill out on the coast for the first week if we can find a nice spot.

Hope you have a fantastic trouble free trip. We are just back loved it

All being well, wind in the right direction and all that nonsense well be over there mid September and this time we hope to make it to Spain.

Got right to the border in April before we had to turn around and dash home :scared:

Have a good trip
