Has any one else noticed that if another Van is coming towards you , depending on how new, big and if it's the latest model. Has a big reflection on the enthusiasm of the waver/wavers within.
They spot you a mile away and by time they are upon you they are going manic. Just to make sure you see them.
Or is it just me....cant they see the expression on my face.... look saga man ..I've been using this for work all week. Sorry if I dont always wave back...works work , just wana get home.
;):D

Know exactly what you mean,Ziderman, I sometimes use mine for work but I wave first anyway and just imagine that I,m off somewhere nice for a few days:p, It makes the journey a bit more enjoyable:rolleyes::D

i use mine all the time and i still wave or flash my lights even on my way to work , nice to be nice

I like the Wild Camping forum. There's some good stuff on here

The only thing that I wish we had was some-one who could merge posts. This was recently covered HERE
Please believe me, this not a "pop" at Ziderman. This rehashing of topics happens very frequently on all forums.
Its the same that we could do with a list of "Recommended Suppliers of Goods and Services".

btw - I never wave at anyone except to shake my fist and shout "Get orf moi land"

Look , no offense taken . I have not had the time to date to wade through the whole site looking for old posts, with something that might have a connection to what I wanted to say...I'd be yer all night.

Any how , how do you best get rid of green mold on the Van , round all the outside windows and joints. Noticed this starting to happen in a few places.

I know sorry , this has been well documented on another Old Post no doubt. Point it out good fellow. Wrong thread....:D:D:D:D:D

Well I guess as a 60 year old retiree with a fairly new big Hymer S820 towing a Ka I'm just the sort of bloke you don't want to know, I'll make a point of not waving in future, I'll also make a point of not stopping to help if I see you broken down, sorry you still have to work but I cann't help you with that.

Green mold

I too am interested in the answer to the green mold problem. We have cleaned the van to within an inch of it's life but just cannot work out how to get at the green mold............. has anyone solved this problem?

Look mate , I didn't say I did not want to know you... it was just a bit of a laugh. Humor .... yes? Obviously some like your self don't see that. Sure I would recognize you next time ...your nose will be pointing in the Air will it not....lighten up old timer.

Full break down cover included. Tis now any how!

yep we do our fortnightly shopping trip in to Barnsley aldi and tesco, dont normally go that way but thought would nip to market to the homebrew stall forgot they was shut, nice to have spotted someone off here :D

your nose will be pointing in the Air will it not, er, no it won't ziderman, as a retired truck driver I've nothing to be snobbish about, (otherwise I wouldn't be on this site) by the way, a product for bikes called 'muck off' is pretty good.

Bad language.

'muck off'

Steady on, no need for language like that.
Did not realize truckers earnt enough to retire at 60.

All in good fun guerdevelal. Did you not have enough years on the road , with out too un frowing on it any more in a gurt motor home. Any how, bet you can reverse it properly ...
Dont be sorry about me working still , I love it , it's good work and pays very well. It's just traveling I hate. Just dont know how you pro drivers every coped with it....!

Crud buster ...simular to Muck off I have in the garage for the Motor bike , will give it a try. Thanks.

The similar product I have that use on motor bike works . It's called crud buster. Best buy it by the Gallon , it's cheaper that way. Tried it this week. Spray on , leave for min , wipe of wash off.

Who was in the motor home at Bishops Tawton yesterday in lay bye. Curtains still drawn at 3 in the afternoon....best not ask I guess.
