O how I took it for granted

With the weather changing for the best and a French trip booked for 6 weeks away , just a couple of weeks ago I had it all planned a few weekends away as per usual then the annual 1 of 2 French trip. O how I took it for granted

I agree I spent a lot of money having the water ingress stopped in our van thinking all along I would get the best out of it this year, then MOT in Feb ready to go. But once at my age, I have learnt to roll with what life deals us and look to better days ahead. Hopefully, we will meet up this year on our first rally, wey hey!

Yes your right, at least I can get the chairs out drink wine and sit looking at getting van and in this weather I imagine I’m on an aire somewhere

All I can do is look at how much money I have lost but more importantly, how I am missing the opportunity to see my brother coming over from Oz and even more importantly, not enjoying the engagement party we had arranged for my daughter and fiance who were coming over from NZ.
Canada in September?
Who knows? Probably more money lost?

if it's any consolation, the weather here in central Portugal is not as sunny as in UK, an unusual number of damp days...warm but damp!
