I'm planning to go on a lads' trip to the Nurburgring 24hrs next May and wondering if anyone has camped there. I've stopped there before and it seems as if you can pull in off the road and wild camp in the forest, there's a commercial site (Camping am Nurburgring) where you pay and get facilities also they open up their main car parks but can't book in advance.
If anyone has stayed there over an organised event I'd be grateful for advice
