Not goodbye

sundown

Guest
hi, as we are getting a few goodbye posts, I just thought I would
get in a "not goodbye post"
no I am not saying goodbye for the sake of a mere £15

It's been said that this forum should be free, because the info
available, has been given freely by members, & not admin
well, if you look at the 10 most stalwart members,
most are in agreement with subscriptions as am I.

If I were to object to a subscription and leave this forum
I would so quietly and gracefully after all, why kick up a fuss
then close the door
unless you want to get the boot in before you go.

I am in agreement with those members, who would rather pay £10 than £15
but hey! I don't make the rules.

I have been self employed most of my my life, in a variety of business's,
and I can tell you, if I were admin, subscriptions would have been imposed long ago

any-way thats my tuppence-worth

I propose a vote of confidence for admin!

roast me if you like
I don'tcare

Well said Sundown,

Never have liked drama queens!

These people are leaving because they have used up their allocation of views on one area of this site, in one day!

I Second your vote:D

Could not have said it better myself.:D

Spooky that I have a similar background to yourself.

Now sit back and watch the parade of ex members and listen to their sad stories. I think it is very entertaining.:)

As a newcomer to the site I saw the value in the information was well worth the few pounds being asked, and no I do not throw my cash around willy nilly as I don't have much.

As a site owner (numerous sites) I know the cost of hosting, there are always cheaper/free options but you get what you pay for.

People whine and dribble for the sake of cost of 21/2 gallons of diesel, get a grip and give your heads a wobble. I wonder how many buy MMM each time and stay overnight at camp sites at how much per night?

Its already good value but once Phil has set up the searchable database for wildspots that can be accessed from a mobile device that will make the £15 fantastic value. I'm looking forwards to that and as a developer / IT Manager I know how mauch work that will involve for him.

Those that have spat their dummies out will be missing out on a fantastic tool....

I have just paid a years subscription. I believe I have had more than £15 worth of info since registering, long may it continue!:)

.

well.. i disagree ...
how can you trust a fella who hasn't had a shave fer 5 years eh... eh :p

regards
aj

I am having a ball:D keep it coming guys, this is a lot better than any commercial club website, even at £15;) Hope Angie pays her own donation:eek:
Ruddy eck, that's a bottle of Malt gone for the next 12 months:eek:

Happy Camping:)

I would totally agree, what is £15 these days in the grand scheme of things and all things campervan....fuel in the highlands is £1.30+ a litre....now there's something to really protest and shout about!
