We are heading off on Monday aiming for the Llyn Peninsula, coming back to England along the North Wales coast. Now kids are back at school I am hoping it will be quiet. My question is, is it possible to 'wildcamp' in the area or will we have to seek CL's?

be care full of the welsh, DRAGONS, they are loose at this time of the year, happy hunting, ok.pj. have a nice time.

Appreciate your humour Peter but not the answer I am looking for🐲

I believe from reading posts on facebook that there are problems wildcamping and it might be just as well to plan for using CL's if you cannot find anywhere.

There's some shifty bloke called Jeff who's fixing up some kind of clandestine gathering in that neck of the woods ...

I was on Anglesey and in North Wales a few weeks back wild camping.

No problems whatsoever and the locals were perfectly friendly.

Avoid Snowdonia and you'll be fine.

Although you didn’t ask...it was just fine in Powys and the Cambrian mountains. Snowdonia generally hostile. But as someone else said do pester the Snowdonia 360 group about places for motorhomes to stay. CAMpRA are starting discussions with them so any pressure from people clamouring for Aires is helpful.
