The thing is though, they always stop around 10-30. We've been stuck on a ferry a couple of times because of this and the captain has said that we shall have to make ourselves comfortable for the next hour or so and then the blockade will be lifted.

To be fair they are protesting about a particularly bad fishing technique which should be banned.

there was somthing on the telly about it and they recon it saves
the sea bed from being ploughed over by the trawl nets. the electric
makes the fish jump up so the trawl net is on wheelskeeping it off
the sea bed. or something like that.

I don't know whether it's a good or bad technique yet, so I'm going to study it for a while & learn what I can before I condem them.
BUT, they are not known for they'er kindness to other livestock!!
