Hi all,

just got back from a two night trip to Sheringham in North Norfolk & thought i should advise anyone thinking of going that way to be aware of new notices that have appeared at the Pretty Corner location on the POI map.
We arrived in the dark & never noticed the "No Camping/sleeping etc signs so stayed for the night anyway & only noticed the signs in the morning.
The North Norfolk District Council in conjunction with the Woodland Trust have been busy little beevers in the last couple of months according to a notice pinned to a wooden stake by the entrance to the woods (walkways etc) but no height barriers as yet.
Nice little place to stopover, lets hope the barrier doesn`t appear.

It only takes one "nosey old git" with a camera to write to the council to spoil just about any stop. It's my theory people's backs are rubbed up the wrong way when they see more than one MH at a location (though i've only ever seen that once). Theres no avoiding complaining types, they're usually walking their dog 9 o'clock at night then back on patrol at the crack of dawn!

If anyone even asks me what i'm doing or am i planning to stay overnight i up sticks and move. I resist taking offence or defending my rights (which is my nature) as ultimately that spoils it for all by annoying the hell out of people. A new location is usually to be had within minutes even if not so nice.

Thanks for the update - I've removed this location from the POI Downloads ...
