Nice Iveco 4x4 conversion

He has done some great work here and anyone can pick some good ideas from him. But personally I think it looks like a converted telegraph line van at the finnish. would look better if not so high from the ground or so square, although would be good for safari type work.

hi,this sort of conversion is the way forward. you need the height to get all the ground clearance for off road. yes they do look abit square.( see mine). makes it easier to fit things .
the germans have companies building nothing but this kind of thing.
i find it a bit short but for off road ideal. there are a few similar in the uk. we see them in maroc in winter.
mind it seems the 4x4 iveco can have timing chain troubles. a friend as done two cams in the last few years . the adjusters seem to go wrong. the normal iveco is belt and seems to be more reliable.
but this is the way get a chassis cab and a nice box. build your own interiour . the standard chassis isnt so high.
but a lovely job. agree with roger the dust will get every where. imagine a month in the sahara going to timbuktoo .be sand everywhere. but very nice.
cheers alan.
