Newquay Cornwall - any good spots for Wilding 10 mile radius.

Anyone know of a good spot for a night or two within 10 miles of Newquay centre? Any other top spots around Cornwall would be appreciated also.

Last time I went to Cornwall it seemed that the bloody National Trust owned most of it & you paid top dollar just to park your car there.

Cornwall does not like wild camping they have yellow lined most of the laybyes particularly round penzance/marizion

Tintagel is one of the few places in Cornwall that welcomes motor homes 3 main carparks allow overnight parking but there's a small fee but a bit further than 10 mls from Newquay

North Devon Council on the other hand appears to be more welcoming with several of their carparks allowing motorhomes to overnight

I really don't mind paying a small charge, it's the £20 I baulk against. Tintagel is a nice enough place, use to be a good real ale pub there too but be blowed if I can remember the name of it.
