Hi All

We have recently bought our first motorhome having always had a caravan, really excited! We are looking to go away in it at the end of December for a week or so to try everything out, any suggestions where would be a good place to visit in uk at this time of year? We are based in Berkshire and have tended to stick to the south coast as we didn't like towing caravan too far. Now it seems like the world is our oyster but can't think where to go for the first outing.

The usual advice is not to go too far first time. Stay on a site ( I know this is a wildcamping forum) and get to know the van. There will be other people to ask questions of, if you need help and advice. We are a friendly bunch and you can learn a lot in a weekend away if you mix in with like minded people.

Keep your eyes open in case somebody has a wildcamping sticker on their van and then corner them.

BTW we all made stupid and laughable errors when we were new to motorhomes but we gloss over that.
