Newbie to site, wild camping and ferries - off to the Outer Hebrides - help!

Just had a solarpanel fixed on the top of my Autocruise Starspirit - it's brilliant! So ready to go off in June, using some proper sites maybe and some wild camping

So am looking for suggestions/advice for wild camping on Skye and the Outer Hebrides; like, is it legal-ish? Also any tips for taking a motorhome on ferries - is there anything to watch out for?

Hi and welcome along, if you join as a full memeber you will have access to to 1000s of places to stop including around the islands.

As previously said if you join the membership fee will soon pay for itself especially around Skye and the Outer Hebrides.

The main thing you need to watch out for is grounding the rear end when boarding and vacating ferries.

Take it nice and easy when driving on and off and if worried mention it to the staff.
