hi im lynne and we are new to wild camping and would like to try wild camping in scotland any one no of any good sites please let us no thankyou x
 
Hi Lynne,

You need to join the site as a full member for about £15.00 and you can then download the POI file which has a couple of thousand sites across the UK. You will save more than the £15.00 your first night not paying site fees.

Hi and Welcome Lynne :wave:

If you have a look in the Wild Camping Sites section, you'll see plenty of possible wilding sites listed for Scotland. You could use these to plan your trip in advance, or login when you're on your travels and find a few alternatives in that particular area.

As Tbear says above, the easy way (if it suits you) is to pay £15 to become a Full member. Then you are able to download all the sites directly to your desktop and view them in Google Earth etc. Or better still, download them directly to your satnav which will store them as POI (Points Of Interest) and navigate you to them with no effort from you!

Hi Lynne welcome to the site, any questions just ask away, someone will have an answer, I don't know of any wild Camping places in Scotland , when we went there in our van we just wandered and parked almost where we felt like it but that was a few years ago and I think it has changed a bit, If you are going to cross the Channel that would be different I know of lots of places to stay France Spain Portugal etc, Canterbury has a super Park and Ride where there is a great area set aside for Motorhomes, it costs £2-50 for 24 hrs, Water and Toilet dump as well, you can ride the bus free into Canterbury City free as many times as you like. it is closed on Sundays but if you are in on Saturday you can stay and exit on Sundays, you just can't enter on Sundays.:fun::fun::welcome::welcome::wave:

Don't believe him. He had to change his name when they let him out. so no one would recognise him. I am the only sane one. I have a certificate to prove it given to me by a doctor when I came out of the hospital:lol-053: :bow:

I can verify DT's certifacte given by his DOCTOR. DT forgot to mention it was the Lunitic asylum doctor☺☺☺
