Welcome to the site. I think a fair few of the members have cleared off to Spain and Morocco by now but there's still loads of us left to answer any questions. Go live the dream.

Welcome Kevin, best place to be for information. Go for it youg man. You should be able to stretch your money to 7 years without working. Wish you all the best.

Hi Kevin - I wish you all the best and any questions you may have, just post them and somebody should be along with an answer for you.

Take care and good luck

Fantastic! Brave man... go for it! This is something I'd love to do but I'm family tied. Don't get me wrong I'm happy with bricks n' mortar but the total freedom just can't be beaten.

I'd not get rid of the bike unless its a wacking gret big Honda Goldwing or summat.

Shop for a van where you can get a smaller bike in the back, You'll find a bike useful for getting to places where a big van cant. Parking is free, petrol cheaper... you get the drift.

Keep us updated on your progress and of course your metal detecting finds...

hi there just seen the post and all i can say is good luck .we have just had 18 months or so living in the van fulltime ,and i must say enjoied it .make shure you have an address you can use ie a care of address for your insurance and other documents, we used our daughters but due to her partner being a compleat and utter t--t and refusing to let us use there address and also making life as difficult as he can, we have just got a 1 bed flat to use as a base so next year we are hoping to have extended holls again anyway if you need any info just ask and i will try to help
