hi stikks the site looks ok, i dont know if you have anything to do with the sites advertised, but if so any chance of a discount on pitch fees for wildcampers that may stay cheers .

Good Luck, I wish you well with your venture but when there is only one site shown in a particular area and I know that there 8 sites it does seem a little sparce on information
The best bit is, that the site you show had some of the surliest owners and staff that it has ever been my misfortune to meet

I take it you were'nt to impressed with this post,Balloo,must admit I had to look up "Surliest" in the dictionary before I posted.

Suspicious? Moi?
There are some very good guides to commercial sites around at present. It doesn't concern me too much because I usually wild camp.
I only use a commercial once a year just to test the electrics.
If I did want to use a site then I would use UKCS and have a very careful look at the reviews. The reviews are written by normal people like me and thee. If you read between the lines you would be surprised at how bad some UK sites are.
Its not even as if the wretched places are that cheap because they are usually top dollar.

Here's some comments to keep you amused -
Several (most) of the staff here are VERY rude. Their attitude to paying customers is simply shocking, varying from sarcasm to ignorance, abusiveness to plain helpfulness.
Good customer service from the staff costs nothing to provide. I am a customer who will look elsewhere next year I'm afraid
everyone we spoke to was incredibly rude and unhelpful.
I have never seen a site with so many notices on display - "Don't do this", "Don't do that". They must think all their campers are totally stupid and have zero common sense. Do they think they are running a prison camp rather than a campsite??

I could go on but I have just broken my truss through laughing too hard
