New Van

Hi all,

Well got myself a little Starcraft its a bit bulky looking as its all fiberglass, but its on a Q plate and classed as a kit car cos its got 6 wheels, so its cheap on insurance. Its one owner and he built it, a nice little man in Derby who can no longer get insurace due to his age.

Its a bit basic inside and I will have to boil water if I want hot, but thats not a problem cos after my little misshap with Berthas boiler the other year and flames were coming out of the bottom I was scared to use it even after it had been repared.

Im picking him up Monday and hoping to get it converted to gas as im getting rid of my car as well, or thats the plan anyway.

So if I can remember how to post pics ill get one on next week.

I cant wait to see the pics. I have always been fasinated by the starcraft. I think it is the unusual shape and the fact it is based on the cortina. Is yours cortina based or the later sierra based?.
Good luck for Monday anyway. I hope you get lots of pleasure from it in the future.

Hope to see you and the Starcraft soon, my last Q reg was a Dutton Melos which I had to rebuild from the chassie up!!
But it went like dream a bit hard on the bum though.
