New to us motorhome ....change from home converted Transit Jumbo ...

Long story short ....

We have just 'Inherited' a relations 2006 Fiat ducato based Swift 590rs ....she has decided that motorhoming is no longer top of her priority list (Used for accommodation when she was away judging dog shows/working trials etc etc )

And has very kindly passed it on to us ....spent today fixing the split charge circuit (blown fuse under bonnet ) and fitting tv etc ...after a 19 hour shift at work Thursday (Started 5 am Thursday morning and finished 12.30 am Friday morning :rolleyes2

Just loading stuff now ready for a quick night away somewhere hopefully in North Wales then leaving the Swift down there for my Dad to enjoy until we collect it before heading off for Xmas/New year ....

Going to feel a bit different after the Transit Jumbo self build.....thought this motorhoming lark was supposed to be relaxing lol

I think we may be doing so ....i'm nervous of losing the ability of a couple of my fave wild spots (Narrow /steep access etc)
BUT the extra 'facilities' of the Ducato mean more options of longer spells between visiting sites as well as only having 35k on the clock and having been looked after very very well .
