new Spanish camper park

hi all found out it's called odisseacamperarea.com denia N38.52.13-W00.00.54 . happy camping

Stayed at Denia a couple of times, usually stopped at Los Pinos the other side of Denia used to be 10€ if you stayed a week or more. Very friendly site but as the name says it's among a lot of trees so some of the spots are a bit tight to get into. Either that or we have wildcamped on near to the harbour but the last time we were there they had signs saying no motorhomes . Denia is a nice place to stay at, we are thinking of looking for a few campsites to stay at doing less driving than we usually, make a change from wildcamping nearly all the time.

:cool:hi kontiki we did half and half camping free & pay but the trouble with the police & the price of diesel we plan to stay 1 month or 2 in one place happy camping

It was last year when we went all the way down the south coast of Spain & although we never got bothered by the police that time we didn't feel comfortable. Much preferred further north places like Palencia, Salamanca etc. (many of the places have official aires) then into Portugal. Only problem is the weather isn't quite as good as you get on the south coast.

Done our fair share of wilding where we stay just the one or two nights, thinking about having a change ourselves this year & stopping on a couple of sites. My problem is I don't know if I could get used to staying in one place for a month, it often depends on not just the site you are on but the people who you meet there. Made some good friends over the years who if we met on a campsite could easily enjoy a month  others we have met sometimes one night makes you want to move off  (probably we would have the effect of people wanting to move off:p with a bit of effort we could probably clear the campsite)
