New signs

Went to new forest weekend ,popped in to swange,a lot of the parking has new signs cars and bikes only.
 
thats good as a motorhome is a car with a special body. ok to park there.
mi category . in vehicle definitions ,construction and use.
 
dont pay it. use the costruction and use definition . thats assuming your camper is registered as a m,home or camper .if its a commercial then it would be a n1 or a n category.
i dont make the rules but do abit of investigating . or try eu ruling 70/156/eec paragraph5.1 .
it is also either a light motor car not exceeding 2540 unladen weight .or a heavy motor car with an unladen weight exceeding 2540kg. statuory instrument(s1)1078/1986 available from the stationary office
 
My local council are a bit upset with me at the moment.

There are signs banning the parking Motor Caravans and Caravans between 12pm & 8am

I've requested a copy of the relevant orders and they're being a little sheepish about the answer!!

My logic is, you cannot ban a specific subgroup of vehicles.
