Here’s a sneak preview to the new series 8 ducato coming out end of 2021. The auto version won’t be available till next spring. I like the new steering wheel, very similar to the one Mercedes use. There will be many things included as standard that are options today. The video covers the history of the ducato. If you only want to watch the new version go to two minutes 40 seconds onwards.

Far too complicated & swanky for a van, keep things simple I say.

Let’s hope it keeps some of the traditional Ducato design features such as the scuttle dripping water onto the engine and some skill required to reverse up a steep hill without your teeth falling out. Having said that my 2009 version still drives well and does give a comfortable ride.

Looks like they fixed the speedo so you can read it. They are still using TomTom sat nav system. Wonder if it's integrated or if you can change it,

I reckon three things have brought on these changes. First the cab has not been improved to this extent for 12 years, second the ford transit has improved a lot, and third EU regulations mean that things like TPMS, passenger airbag, and some other things that are currently options are now mandatory.
We should have more information later on this year, but it looks much better than what’s currently available.
