Thats great news , its good to see the positive attitude shown by the councillors and we should give them a bit of business to prove them right :dance:
 
Now that's a good idea deanotic....although initially April to September is mentioned, I'd say if we could hold some meets up there and visited local shops and restaurants we might in fact end up welcome all year round.
 
This is really good news, I hope it happens in Hawick, then follows suit in all other towns. It will be good for local businesses. Not everyone wants to do the CLs or campsites everytime they stop for the night. Bravo the people of Hawick.
 
this sounds like a good move.Has anyone overnighted on the car park at langholm just further down the A7 it looks nice on streetveiw..
